TBTPThe Provincial Government of Bohol successfully launched the Tigum Bol-anon Tibuok Pilipinas (TBTP) Friday.

In time with the annual Sandugo festivities, Gov. Edgar M. Chatto formally introduced TBTP delegates during the commemorative program at the Bohol Cultural Center where the organization was formally launched.

The two-day nostalgic and fun-filled activities commenced at 7:00 in the morning Friday with a Thanksgiving Mass at the St. Joseph Cathedral, a most fitting deed to start the day.

After the mass, delegates were given the chance to partake of a Bol-anong Painit at the National Museum Branch were native and authentic Boholano breakfast treats were served on cultural and historic surroundings.

In the afternoon, delegates and guests participated in the Mardi Gras cum street dancing which convened at Plaza Rizal and culminated at the CPG Sports Complex.

One “tinuod nga anak ni Dagohoy” as he chose to call himself, simply could not contain his enthusiasm and excitement by saying:

“My eyes feasted on the colorful costumes while my feet could not just stop giving in to the beat. My God! What a fetive way to come back home! I just couldn’t get my fill. I need to come back home year after year just to experience the rush of adrenaline that I’m feeling right now. And that is a promise!”

Dinner for them allowed everyone to get a taste of international cuisine at Plaza Rizal where the now annually much-anticipated International Food Fusion Nights give Boholanos the chance to experience global cuisine at low, low prices.

TBTP Day Two began early where delegates re-experienced their homeland’s internationally-acclaimed tourist attractions during their tour and civic activities in certain towns.

After a tiring yet a most exhilarating day, a Fellowship and Thanksgiving Dinner for the delegates and their families and friends immediately followed a Sunset Viewing at Be Grand Resort’s Lune Roof Garden.

The two-day TBTP maiden experience this year left everyone wanting for more for coming home every year could never be enough, even for true-blooded Boholanos, to once again savor Bohol and all its God-given wonders.

“My anticipation for next year’s celebration is growing stronger every minute. Bet you’d surely be seeing me again next year,” said ‘tinuod nga anak ni Dagohoy.’
